I grew up in Flower Mound, Texas for the majority of my life and attended UT Austin for undergrad. Growing up, I was always involved in sports and I played basketball and football competitively. After UT, I studied for a year at the UNT Health Science Center Med Sci program. I started at the Long SOM in 2017. I am currently interested in primary care with a specialization in sports medicine and nutrition.

Topics I feel comfortable talking about
I'm an open book and I can talk about everything....I can provide expertise on taking a gap year/applying to medical school with a less than ideal GPA and/or how to apply with a few bad grades on your transcript. I can also talk about general wellness in medical school and maintaining a relationship with someone in medical school who is not also in professional school or graduate school.
What I hope to gain from this experience
I am a huge proponent of mentorship and I have participated in various mentorship opportunities throughout undergrad and medical school, so I would like to extend my areas of knowledge to others and help in any way that I can.
