Accept the Offer

Confirmation of your acceptance within the AMP portal is required within two weeks of admission. A deposit is not required to hold your seat in the class. Offers extended after May 1, 2026 require a shorter acceptance deadline; check your acceptance email for information.

UT San Antonio New Student Pre-Registration Handbook

Please review the Handbook’s 9 Required Tasks for all incoming UT San Antonio students.

Immunization Requirements

University policy mandates a full completed immunization profile prior to registration. Proof of all required immunizations must be submitted to SentryMD prior to orientation. Please note immunization holds can be avoided if you act now and begin working on your vaccination requirements. 

My Student Center Account

My Student Center allows you to enroll in classes, view your bill, check your financial aid status, view your holds, and much more!

Veteran Services & Financial Aid

Complete your FAFSA to be considered for student loans and scholarships.

Once your FAFSA is received, you will receive access to the Scholarship Application in My Student Center

FAFSA School Code: 010115

Out of State Students: Both the FAFSA and Scholarship Application must be received to receive your in-state tuition waiver.

Criminal Background Check

A successful criminal background check report (submitted via CompuFact) is required prior to matriculation. Do not submit your background check prior to April 1, 2026. Reports submitted prior to this date will not be accepted. 

Background check holds will be removed in the order received after April 15, 2026.

Registration & Submitting Official Final Transcripts

Class registration is not a competitive registration process, as all new students register for the same placeholder class. Web registration will open on May 1, 2026. 

Official transcripts of all colleges/universities previously attended must be sent to the Office of the University Registrar as soon as grades are finalized, preferably by June 1, 2026.  Review the Transcript Requirement Policy for additional information.

Prerequisite Coursework & Deficiency Information

Your TMDSAS Prescribed Course Report (PCR) will note any prerequisite coursework deficiencies. Please review your PCR within the TMDSAS portal.

The Office of the University Registrar will send notification of any deficiencies and provide instructions on the Petition for Course Review for Medical Admissions Form. Forms will be reviewed by the Admissions & Outreach Office beginning May 2026.

Name Pronunciation File

Deadline: July 1, 2026

Please submit a voice recording file of your correct name pronunciation for White Coat Ceremony. 

Tips for Submission:

  1. Open the voice recording app on your smartphone.
  2. Use the app to record the proper pronunciation of your full name. Include your middle name please. Speak slowly and deliberately. Say your name three times!
  3. Save the file as your Last Name, First and Middle Name (Ex: Smith, Daniel Robert)
