Medical training is one of the most exciting and rewarding times in the life of residents, fellows and faculty alike, but it can also present a variety of challenges to personal and professional well-being. Faculty, residents and fellows often experience emotional and physical exhaustion, anxiety, feelings of inadequacy, and strained personal relationships. These issues can often lead to depression, mood disorders, substance abuse and even suicidal thoughts. Our Wellness and Resiliency program strives to ensure that faculty, residents and fellows are both emotionally and academically successful.
