    UT Health San Antonio is experiencing rapid growth this year with multiple new structures on the Greehey campus. This expansion includes the UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, the Center for Brain Health, and a six-story employee parking garage. This addition will allow us to continue to be one of the leading research Universities in the state.

This study is comprised of compressed formats of standard PTSD treatment called prolonged exposure therapy. With this type of therapy, the patient learns to face the trauma-related memories in a 3-week program.

    COVID took the world by storm three years ago. Many Americans contracted the illness but have, thankfully, gotten better. But what about those who haven’t? Long COVID is the ongoing conditions of COVID that can have a wide range of symptoms that last, weeks, months, or even years. Because of their ongoing symptoms, Americans are struggling to go back to work and carry on with their lives.  Although, long COVID is now being considered as a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act, many struggle to be approved for disability insurance. Monica Verduzco
