My Role with Students and Residents at Long School of Medicine

I am the fellowship program director for the Infectious Diseases fellowship and enjoy working with students in the inpatient, HIV medicine service, ID consult service as well as outpatient HIV and ID clinics. I have participated in the longitudinal Preceptorship program for MSII students and mentored students in these early stages of their clinical training.  I am a Veritas Faculty Mentor for the Veritas Program and have coached students through their career paths. In a formal teaching capacity, I lecture students within the Attack and Defense Module and present ID topics at the Internal Medicine didactics. Serving on the admissions committee for the ID fellowship and IM residency also provides numerous opportunities for me to meet and interact with residents and provide a valuable perspective for the medical school experience.

Three Fun Facts About Me

  1. I love animals and have a pet dog, cat, and fish.
  2. I enjoy crafting with different materials and science themes.
  3. I love to travel and visit different museums.
