Purchasing Considerations for Human Studies

eConsent and mobile applications used for research may not be purchased until the Form NN - Use of Technology in Research is submitted to the IRB or OCR (for external IRB studies) as indicated in the Institutional Research Application.  This is a dual department form used by IRB to assist with determinations appropriate for use of electronic informed consent and mobile application and IMS to assess institutional safeguards and to assist with purchasing applications, where necessary.   Institutional activation will not be granted until IMS clearance is granted.
