Prescribing Resilience
Prescribing Resilience is an introductory session to the Resilient Physician Series that takes place every spring. Rooted in the powerful insights from the book I Wish I Read this Book Before Medical School, this session offers practical tools, thoughtful discussions, and proven strategies to set you up for a successful transition in medical school.
Student affairs offers a complimentary book to the first 25 incoming students to sign up. Communication about this program typically goes out in May prior to starting medical school.
Resilient Physician Series (RPS)
Designed specifically for first-year medical students, this program offers students the tools and strategies to navigate the challenges of medical training and build a foundation for lifelong resilience in the medical profession. Each session focuses on key aspects of personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and professional development, empowering students to build a strong foundation to become resilient and compassionate physicians.
