Practicing emergency medicine far from the emergency room
<p>In February 2024, students in the Wilderness and Survival Medicine course at UT Health San Antonio’s Long School of Medicine tested their emergency medicine skills during a four-day trip to Big Bend National Park where they role-played seven potentially life-and-death scenarios to determine how they should respond. </p>
