OVERVIEW:
During the presentation, we will discuss the pillars of lifestyle medicine and its impact on gastrointestinal (GI) disease. We will also look at the future needs in medical education.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
 After this presentation, you will be able to: 

  • Understand the core components that form the foundation of lifestyle interventions and why they matter.
  • Discuss gastrointestinal conditions where lifestyle changes improve outcomes, independent of conventional medical treatment.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for incorporating lifestyle medicine into medical schools, residencies, and continuing education.
