Tara, a Chicago native, earned her Master’s in Bioethics from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she completed a Clinical Ethics practicum with the Medical Ethicist at Grady Memorial Hospital. Seeking to broaden her Clinical Ethics expertise and work with a diverse range of patient populations, Tara relocated to San Antonio to take on the role of Ethics Fellow at University Health. During her time at UH, she had the privilege of learning from Jeanie Sauerland, our Director of Ethics Services and many dedicated physicians, nurses, social workers, and all the individuals who make UH exceptional! She has since relocated back to Chicago where she now serves as the Clinical Ethics Manager at Ascencion Illinois.
