Covid-19 Pediatric Updates: Back-to-School - 2022 Edition

Course Description

This course will describe the utility and indications of management of COVID -19 in pediatric patients and the importance of COVID vaccine administration.

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational goals of physicians and other healthcare professionals specializing in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of Pediatric patients and COVID-19.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss the current state of COVID for children including infection rates and MIS-C cases
  • We will review COVID vaccine rates in children in the state of Texas, current vaccines available to administer and efficacy of vaccine
  • Understand the current treatment options for COVID – 19 in children
  • Discuss best practices for heading back to school
