This course will describe improving cardiovascular outcomes in South Texas with multiarterial grafting.
This activity is designed to meet the educational goals of physicians and other healthcare professionals specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients requiring bypass.
- Understand the relative patency of various CABG conduits including left and right internal mammary arteries, radial arteries, and saphenous vein grafts
- List the clinical and anatomic factors affecting patient selection for multiarterial grafting
- Identify strategies to address the unique challenges to multiarterial grafting in South Texas
- Summarize the long-term mortality and cardiovascular benefits of multiarterial grafting
