Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Resident
Class of 2030
Dr. Alexa Lianette Perez was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. She attended Florida Atlantic University for her undergraduate studies where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2018.
In 2023, Dr. Perez earned her D.M.D from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, achieving notable awards for her academic excellence and graduating amongst the top of her class. Following this, Dr. Perez went on to complete a 1-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida-Jacksonville.
Dr. Perez is expected to earn her M.D. from the Long School of Medicine in 2027. Concurrently, she is dedicated to her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UT Health San Antonio, where she eagerly anticipates delving into the comprehensive scope of the field. She is projected to complete her residency in 2030.
Beyond the realm of OMFS, she enjoys scuba diving, reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Dr. Perez looks forward to having the privilege of spending the coming years learning from the esteemed physicians at UT Health San Antonio and working alongside her co-residents.
