Symposium Event Details
The Mikiten Graduate Research Symposium promotes excellence in research through mentorship, collaboration, and student interaction.
The Mikiten Graduate Symposium is organized by the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Health San Antonio and is generously supported by the Mikiten family.
This year’s theme, “The Scientist’s Voice: Styles, Skills & Strategies for Impact,” focuses on helping trainees strengthen how they communicate their research clearly, confidently, and concisely to a variety of audiences.
Participants will have opportunities to:
- Hear from an exciting lineup of invited speakers
Present their work through:
- Abstract Competition
- 3-Minute Thesis Competition
- Poster Presentation Competition
Available Prizes for Abstract Competition, 3-Minute Thesis Competition, and Poster Presentation Competition:
- First Place: $200.00
- Second Place: $150.00
- Third Place: $100.00
