Just over one year ago, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio teamed up with the University of Texas at San Antonio to launch an independent school of public health to serve the public health needs of San Antonio, Bexar County and our broader service area within South Texas. 

This task is monumental, but together with multiple partners, the community and its people, the school has made tremendous progress.
