Michael Halpern, MD Presenting "Workplace Programs and Policies to Enhance Cancer Screening"

As part of the Cancer Alliance of Texas (CAT) Quarterly Meetings, Michael T. Halpern, MD, PhD, Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Health Services Administration, will present "Workplace Programs and Policies to Enhance Cancer Screening" on August 14, starting at 10:45 a.m. CST.

Employers can implement policies that support workers facing cancer and other serious medical conditions. These programs help employees maintain their health, reduce the economic burden of treatment, and foster a positive workplace environment. Halpern has conducted research that highlights how workplace policies can help ease the economic toll of cancer treatment.
