Dr. Garner plays a pivotal role in advancing the academic mission of the UT School of Public Health San Antonio. His dynamic and visionary leadership, coupled with his extensive experience in policy and education, positions him as an invaluable asset to the dean's leadership team. Garner's responsibilities will encompass overseeing academic programs, managing faculty affairs, and enhancing the student experience to ensure a high-quality learning environment. His strategic approach, informed by data and research, aligns with the school's core values, emphasizing success for all, inclusivity, and academic excellence.

Dr. Iyiegbuniwe spearheads the strategic vision, provide dynamic leadership, and oversee administrative operations for the university's pioneering the MPH program. His responsibilities will encompass program development, academic stewardship, accreditation and compliance, faculty and staff recruitment, as well as active engagement in research and scholarship. These efforts will pave the way for the program's inaugural class, set to commence in the Fall of 2024.

With over 19 years of experience in experiential learning, career development, and student success programs, Andres Jaime is School of Public Health’s Assistant Director of Experiential Learning.  As experiential learning is a fundamental  element to our school, Andres leads development of integrative experiential learning into our academic curriculum. He received an Executive Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership program at The University of Texas at Austin and a Master in Public Administration from St. Mary’s University. 

In her role as Lead Academic Programs Coordinator, Sue supports the academic mission of the School of Public Health. She facilitates the admissions process from recruitment and acceptance through orientation and beyond. With a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s degree in Student Development & Leadership in Higher Education from Angelo State University, she has over 10 years of experience in higher education. Sue has contributed to a variety of student services in undergraduate and graduate environments and enjoys supporting students toward personal and professional success.
