Required COVID-19 precautions as community risk level worsens

<p>Based on data reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as of July 28 2022, Bexar County’s COVID-19 community risk level remains high and worsening. The BA.5 variant is highly contagious and can infect people who have had prior infections and those who are vaccinated against COVID-19. Still, vaccinations have proven to reduce the severity of the illness, reducing the number of hospitalizations.</p>
