1 Licensed research personnel may not be trained to do procedures outside of those allowed under their respective license that would require licensure and/or consent of the patient in the standard patient care setting (non-research).
2 The RScOP form should include duties assigned for all studies. The RScOP does not expire and should only be resubmitted for changes in duties or supervisor. The RScOP is NOT required for licensed personnel who are conducting research activities within the limits of their license and approved clinical privileges, if applicable.
Research credentialing is required for all researchers (including non-clinicians) at the affiliate institutions. This process can be take up to 90 days and should begin early. Contact the appropriate research office as soon as possible to begin the process.
