Diabetic shoes and foot orthoses are prescribed to patients with a diagnosis of diabetes who will benefit from orthotic intervention to prevent the development of wounds on the feet. Many shoe styles are available for careful selection based on evaluation of your feet, ankles and goals for daily use. The foot orthoses are contoured to your feet and are easily accommodated in the extra-depth diabetic shoes. The foot orthoses are custom fit to provide a uniform cushion and prevent any excessive pressures when you walk.
