Surgical treatments available for lymphedema caused by cancer

There is no cure for lymphedema but there are innovative surgical treatment options that may help reduce swelling and prevent complications. 

Anton Fries, MD, chief of plastic and reconstructive surgery, explains two microsurgery procedures he performs called the lymphovenous bypass and the vascularized lymph node transfer.
