Plans Advance for New UT Health San Antonio Facility at The Rock at La Cantera

Plans are moving forward for a new outpatient care and elite research center at The Rock at La Cantera. Lincoln Property Company expects to break ground this summer on a new medical office building located on the Spurs performance campus. UT Health San Antonio will lease approximately 20,000 square feet within the building to provide advanced sports medicine, imaging services, and human performance innovations.

UT Health San Antonio's services at The Rock at La Cantera will primarily focus on delivering specialized care to meet the evolving health needs of the community.

While UT Health San Antonio is not overseeing the building's construction, the academic health center anticipates moving into the new space in late spring 2027, pending construction progress.

This project is part of a multiyear partnership between the San Antonio Spurs and UT Health San Antonio, focused on advancing health and wellness across the greater San Antonio community.
