Plagiocephaly - What parents need to know
Approximately 1 in 5 children will develop plagiocephaly, a condition that can affect any baby and occurs when an infant develops a flat spot on part of their head.
Robert Sanders, DO, a pediatrician at UT Health San Antonio, appeared on Fox 29’s Midday Show to raise awareness of plagiocephaly and to provide tips for families. He also talks about why babies sometimes need helmets for treatment.
