Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Accelerated Track

Earn a Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing in 15 months with continuous, full-time study. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Accelerated Track program is for individuals who are not registered nurses and already hold a baccalaureate degree or higher in a field other than nursing. Individuals accepted to the program have completed prerequisite content and will gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for entry into the nursing profession during their 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters of the four-year degree. Students will also have the opportunity to earn distinction in the areas of research and clinical service. This track prepares graduates for generalist nursing practice across a range of pre-licensure competencies focused on making lives better by promoting health as an act of social justice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a field other than nursing
  • 3.0 prerequisite GPA
  • 51 of the 60 hours of required prerequisite courses completed (including all math and science courses)
