New program plan options for the Doctor of Nursing Practice – Nurse Practitioner Tracks coming in Fall 2025!
Choose either a 3-Year Program Plan or a 4-Year Program Plan—whichever fits your life situation.
We have one of the top BSN-DNP programs in the United States while also offering highly competitive tuition rates. A nurse practitioner who holds a DNP degree is specifically prepared to care for individual patients and to participate and improve the systems in which that care is delivered. Health care is dynamic and future nurse practitioners need the training to implement new evidence-based practices or identify system problems that are barriers to healthcare access and delivery.
We invite you to explore our new program plans that are designed to prepare you to meet this dual role. We understand that as adult learners you need to have both a flexible and predictable schedule. Based on this, we have created a schedule in which you only have to attend face to face classes a maximum of one day per week. In year one of your program classes will be held every Thursday, year two classes will be held on Tuesdays and in the final year (year three or four) classes will be on Wednesdays. The remainder of your course work will be done virtually and asynchronously. This does not mean you are alone. Our faculty are well-prepared to support you virtually and are always available to provide support on your academic journey.
What sets our program apart from others?
- NO HASSLE CLINICAL ROTATIONS: We secure high quality clinical rotations for our nurse practitioner students! We are committed to providing our students with the optimal patient care experiences.
- BOARD EXAM READY: Our graduates consistently score higher than national average on the national certification exams.
- HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER EXCELLENCE: Our students have access to state-of-the-art classrooms, simulation centers, and hands-on instruction by experienced clinicians while also providing students with the flexibility of the hybrid format.
REACHING BEYOND OURSELVES: Our students excel in interprofessional learning opportunities, including an option to graduate with a global health distinction.
