Doctor of Occupational Therapy Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. 
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Program prerequisite GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Occupational Therapy Centralized Application Service online application. 
  • Supplemental application and fee.
  • Official GRE Scores (code 2138). 
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended. 
  • Two reference letters, preferably with at least one from a registered occupational therapist.
  • 40 occupational therapy observation hours (Documentation of Experience form).

Admissions Requirements

Program at a Glance

  • 114 semester credit hours of graduate-level coursework.
  • 6 months of full-time clinical fieldwork.
  • A doctoral capstone project.
