Raphael Reyes

Ph.D. Student

Raphael is a native Californian from Los Angeles and completed his undergrad at the University of California Riverside. He continued his career in research at the University of Missouri-Columbia. As an undergrad, he studied the molecular biology of the malaria parasite and as a post-bac student he was introduced to research in immune cell development. In his graduate studies, he wishes to integrate both experiences to explore host-pathogen interactions. In his spare time, he loves to watch films; his current favorite is A Quiet Place.
