About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Milind Joshi and I was born in Florida but actually spent most of my formative years in India. I moved back to the US for my undergraduate studies at Vassar College where I pursued a BA in Biochemistry and was also a 4-year varsity athlete on the Men's Squash team. Athletics have played a big part of my life and I've continued with my athletic interests in medical school by playing intramural soccer and squash with the local club. One thing I have always prioritized are my friends and my relationships with them, both in undergrad and medical school and I spend most of my free time with my friends here.
Hobbies/Interests
Some of my hobbies are binging Netflix shows, playing soccer and squash, working out and hanging out with my friends
Research Topic
Protein interactions with viruses
Why I chose MD/PhD
I have always had a keen interest in the translational aspect of the MD/PhD program. My goal is to find a balance between these two careers as well as a meaningful connection that can tie my lab work to my clinical experiences
