Mentors In Medicine

The Long School of Medicine designed Mentors in Medicine II as an educational program to assist students in preparing for college and to learn the requirements for entry into medical school. Each student participant will be assigned a medical student who will mentor them on necessary skills to be successful in college. This program will focus on encouraging and motivating economically disadvantaged minority high school students & college freshman to seek careers in healthcare or medicine. Student participants will interact with medical students and faculty at the medical school and participate in group activities, hands on activities, and hear from inspirational guest speakers every week. Dinner is provided at every session.
