Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from a nationally accredited nursing program (ACEN, NLNAC, or CCNE)
- Current, valid RN license in Texas or a compact state that includes Texas
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 for the last 60 credit hours of college coursework (evaluated in chronological order)
- Minimum Science GPA of 3.0
- A minimum of one-year critical care experience as an RN
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) taken within the past five years
- Minimum GRE Analytical Writing score of 3.5
- Send official GRE score report to code 7616 – UT San Antonio School of Nursing NursingCAS
- Completion of the following courses, each with a grade of B or higher and worth at least 3 semester credit hours: Statistics and Organic Chemistry or Biochemistry (completed within the last 5 years, lab not required)
- Three professional references (submitted through the NursingCAS application).
- Complete the writing sample via the Kira Talent platform (embedded within the NursingCAS application)
- Complete and upload the following forms to the application. You must use the templates provided
