Foreign Coursework

Applicants who have attended a foreign college are required to submit an official course-by-course foreign evaluation from an approved Foreign Credentialing Service. This evaluation must be mailed directly from the credentialing agency to:

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

If an applicant has only attended colleges outside of the United States, they will be required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to be considered for admission to the School of Nursing.

Scores must be less than two years old and received by the Office of Admissions by the application deadline. Please send official score reports to:

Minimum TOEFL scores to be considered for admission depend on the type of TOEFL exam taken. The TOEFL minimum score requirements are:

  • Paper Examination: 550
  • Internet-Based Examination: 68

Alternatively, the Office of Admissions will also accept an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score, with a minimum score of 6.5.

The Office of Admissions works collaboratively with the Office of International Services to ensure all governmental and state laws and university rules and regulations are followed. International students are encouraged to contact the Office of International Services for questions and the Office of Admissions for help with their application.
