Ph.D. in Health Sciences

A collaboration between the School of Health Professions and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the PhD in Health Sciences is designed to prepare allied health professionals to assume major leadership, research and educational positions within their professions, as well as to provide career advancement opportunities.

The PhD in Health Sciences is designed to be delivered as a hybrid-blended program and is a broad-based, interdisciplinary/interprofessional degree that will allow graduates to place their individual health field in the context of the allied health disciplines, the health care delivery system as a whole, and the larger issues of health and wellness across the continuum of the health care system.

The PhD in Health Sciences program is an online program. International students may not be eligible for visas.
