Registration is open for the 27th Annual Respiratory Care Symposium
The Division of Respiratory Care will host its 27th Annual Symposium in March — the third consecutive year the continuing education event will be virtual.
The two-day symposium will feature 12 speakers from the U.S. and around the world on a range of topics including COVID-19 and proning, sleep apnea and stroke, and mental health care and self-care for health care providers.
27th Annual Respiratory Care Symposium details:
• March 10–11, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT.
• Six CEUs per day; attend one or both days.
• Multiple registration levels.
• Register here.
Hosting the event virtually makes it possible to include a wider variety of speakers, said Tabatha Dragonberry, DHSc, MBA-H, MEd, RRT-NPS, RRT-ACCS, AE-C, CPFT, C-NPT, assistant professor and director of online education for the Division of Respiratory Care.
“You are increasing your reach to get the experts in their specific areas who may not be local,” she said.
If you have questions about the symposium, contact Dr. Dragonberry at dragonberry@uthscsa.edu, or Lisa Anderson at AndersonL1@uthscsa.edu.
