MLS professor appointed chair-elect of Institutional Faculty Advisory Body

Assistant Professor Cordy Kudika

Assistant Professor Cordy Kudika, MA, CHS (ACHI), director of clinical education in the Division of Medical Laboratory Sciences, is chair-elect of the new UT San Antonio Institutional Faculty Advisory Body.

Kudika will begin her two-year term as chair-elect on Sept. 1. She will transition to chair for the second year of her term, which ends Aug. 31, 2028. She said she looks forward to serving the university and supporting its mission and vision.

“I am very excited to really support different faculty processes and promote communication between all of the colleges and all of the schools,” she said. “My main goal is communication and then to learn, to ask questions and grow as an individual faculty member and to strengthen all faculty at the health campus and at the university as a whole.”

The IFAB is made up of 36 faculty members representing every academic college and school. 

Assistant Professor Selina Morgan, PT, DPT, PhD, NCS, of the Department of Physical Therapy has been appointed a member of IFAB. Other School of Health Professions faculty members have been appointed to serve as members of IFAB working groups, including:
