Riley Johnson
Riley grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. In 2017, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brigham Young University and went on to attend the University of Colorado, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating magna cum laude. Riley served in the United States Army and completed the Fort Bliss Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. During this time, he discovered a strong passion for endodontics and for caring for those that serve us.
He was later stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii before relocating to San Antonio to join the UT San Antonio Endodontic Specialty Program. Despite being a dentist, Riley is well known for having a sweet tooth—especially for sour candy, with Sour Patch Kids being a longtime favorite.
Outside the clinic, Riley enjoys staying active through sports and off-road motorcycle riding and values time spent exploring new experiences with his family. He is proficient in the Chuukese language, having lived in Micronesia for two years. Riley is married to his wife, Kierra, and is the proud father of three children: Easton, Raya, and Hayden. He is grateful to be part of the UT San Antonio family and looks forward to continuing his training in a field he is deeply passionate about.
