The UT San Antonio School of Dentistry Annual Golf Scholarship Tournament started in 2005 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the School of Dentistry and, more importantly, to raise funds to support the Last Man Standing Scholarship Endowment and the School of Dentistry Memorial Scholarship. 

Wondering how the Last Man Standing Endowment was named? At the first tournament, there were 80 players and they became the original members of the Last Man Standing competition. The last remaining participant of the original 80 will have the privilege of having the Last Man Standing Scholarship Endowment named after him. 

Thanks to the golf tournament proceeds, this permanent endowment grows every year, generating funds to award to our school’s outstanding dental students. This would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, alumni, faculty and friends throughout the years.
