Research Topic

Candida albicans is an opportunistic human fungal pathogen capable of causing life threatening disease in immunocompromised individuals. C. albicans multiple virulence factors make it a highly adaptable and lethal pathogen contributing to a high mortality rate in systemic infections. Stephanie's project aims to determine the role of Dcp2 in the regulation of Candida albicans virulence properties.
