Nathaniel Jackson

Ph.D. Student

Nathaniel is interested in contributing to potential solutions to control viruses and their spread. As a PhD student, he is currently developing his dissertation and is interested in characterizing virulence factors of viruses and developing recombinant viruses expressing reporter genes to evaluate neutralizing antibodies and antivirals. 

While completing his undergraduate studies, he was a research assistant at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, contributing to the development of a protein subunit vaccine and monoclonal antibody therapies to treat SARS-CoV-2.
