D.D.S./Ph.D.

The combined D.D.S./Ph.D. (Doctor of Dental Surgery and Doctor of Philosophy) training program available through the School of Dentistry and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Health San Antonio is a component of the Craniofacial Oral-Biology Student Training in Academic Research (COSTAR) T32 Training Program. The program is funded by the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. Only 17 universities in the country have (COSTAR) T32 programs and the only one in Texas. This national program focuses on creating the next generation of clinician scientists to ensure the future of the nation's oral health.
