Graduate Certificate in Medical Physics Program

This is a newly proposed program, pending approval from The University of Texas System and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The anticipated inaugural matriculating class is Fall 2025.

Overview

This program aims to give qualified graduates in physical sciences and engineering the basic medical physics education to pursue post-graduate clinical medical physics training in a certified residency program.

Admission Requirements

All students should have a doctorate in the physical sciences or be a PhD candidate in a physical sciences PhD program before admission to the Graduate Certificate in Medical Physics program.

Coursework

Completion of the Graduate Certificate in Medical Physics Program requires satisfactory completion of required coursework.
