Welcome to the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences

Welcome to the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences!  We are delighted that you have decided to investigate this interesting and challenging profession. There are many professional options available to our graduates - they have successful careers in hospital laboratories, research laboratories, and in the biomedical industry.  Our faculty have been recognized for their excellence in teaching and are well-known nationally for their expertise in scientific disciplines. We will work closely with you to ensure your success.

Clinical laboratory technicians (CLTs)/medical laboratory technicians (MLT) who have completed a NAACLS accredited CLT/MLT program, have an associate degree, and are NCA or ASCP certified are eligible for articulation into the baccalaureate program.  Applicants who already have a baccalaureate degree in another field and want to pursue a bachelor of science in Clinical Laboratory Science should meet with a CLS faculty member to determine the best route to take to complete the program requirements.
