In an annual observation of National Doctor’s Day, members of the UT Health Science Center’s School of Medicine faculty make presentations at local schools in March of each year. These presentations are 45-50 minutes long and address facts about how to achieve a career in medicine. The presentations also include the doctor’s personal story of their journey to their present professional position. Additionally, as a memento of the day and the presentation, each student attending the presentation at each school will be given a “Future Doctor” T-shirt as a gift from the Health Science Center. If you, as a local educator, are interested in having a presentation at your school in 2016 , please complete the attached form and email it or fax it back to Dr. Irene Chapa, whose information is provided on the form itself.
