The mission of the Department of Occupational Therapy is to graduate professional,
compassionate occupational therapists with the knowledge, attitudes and skills
that support excellence in practice in diverse settings. Through an emphasis on
critical thinking and scholarly activity, graduates will excel as leaders in the
community and the profession of occupational therapy. Faculty will collaborate in
activities to enhance research, service and education, serving as role models in
the advancement of healthcare.
