'Win a Jaguar to Save a Jaguar'

Do you like snazzy cars? Do you like animals? If your answers are yes, then you'll want to participate in the "Win a Jaguar to Save a Jaguar" event and raffle benefiting Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Inc. (WRR). Dr. Ron Grimwood, professor in the department of medicine and chair of this year's event, said only 350 tickets, raffling off a 2002 X-Type Jaguar automobile, will be sold. Tickets are $250 and include a one-in-350 chance at winning the Jaguar and admission for two to the WRR's 12th annual benefit from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, 555 Funston.

WRR is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orphaned, injured and displaced wildlife. To purchase tickets, call (210) 698-1709 or (830) 336-2725 or visit www.wildlife-rescue.org.
