Arthritis Action Day set for May 11

San Antonio-area residents affected by arthritis can learn the latest in disease and treatment options at the Arthritis Foundation's "Arthritis Action Day" from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 11. The half-day educational seminar will feature arthritis experts discussing rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia and juvenile arthritis. The seminar includes timely topics including "How to Talk to Your Doctor" and "The Emotional Aspects of Chronic Disease."

The event will take place at the Omni Hotel, 9821 Colonnade Blvd. Underwritten by Pharmacia, the event is free and open to the public and includes refreshments.
