International Christmas Evening set for Dec. 13

The International Alliance invites everyone to its International Christmas Evening at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in the auditorium foyer. Enjoy seasonal music, international foods and a visit from Santa Claus. Bring your favorite ethnic dish. For more information, call Jennifer Orr at 344-5547.

Instrumentation services' Holiday Open House scheduled for Dec. 13

The Health Science Center community is invited to attend the instrumentation services Holiday Open House from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 13, in room 122C of the Medical School. New faculty and staff will be especially interested in learning how instrumentation services staff members can assist them with their technological needs. The instrumentation services department consists of three divisions: design, fabrication, and biomedical and laboratory support. The department serves as a centralized engineering facility available to all research faculty members.

Health Science Center students sometimes face the holiday season alone. It can be a difficult time far from their families.
