(L-R) Dr. Robert Clark, professor and chairman of the department of medicine, presents Dr. Timothy Ley with a plaque in recognition of Dr. Ley's participation as distinguished speaker at this year's Medicine Research Day. Dr. Ley is the Alan A. and Edith L. Wolff Professor of Medicine at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, Mo., and professor of genetics and director of the Hematopoiesis Research Center, division of oncology. He joined UTHSC faculty in a round-table discussion titled "Physician-Scientist: An Endangered Species."
