No change in Briscoe Library hours this summer

Briscoe Library staff members are conducting a three-month pilot project to assess user demand for library facilities during the summer. For that reason, the library hours of operation will not change this summer.

Hours of service at academic health sciences libraries throughout the United States and Canada range from 65 to 168 hours per week. Last summer, the library reduced hours from 109 to 104 hours per week by closing one hour earlier on Friday and Saturday evenings, and opening three hours later on Sunday mornings. In September 2000, the library increased hours from 109 to 110 hours per week by opening one hour earlier on Saturday mornings.

Briscoe Library hours
Monday - Thursday 7 a.m. - midnight
Friday 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. - midnight

Note: The library will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
