Pediatrics update set for June 8-10
The 38th annual teaching conference on Pediatrics for the Practitioner will be held at San Antonio's Westin Riverwalk Hotel June 8 through 10.
The meeting, designed for pediatricians, advanced practice nurses and others who treat children, will provide the latest information on pediatric development and behavior, pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric infectious diseases.
More than 30 topics will be covered in lectures, informal seminars and luncheon workshops. Updates will address issues concerning patients from infancy to adolescence. Topics will include diabetes, heart problems, attention deficit/hyperactivity, otitis media, developmental screening, poisoning, bacterial meningitis, new seizure medications, hepatitis C and many other issues.
The program may be claimed for a maximum of 15 continuing education hours in category 1 toward the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award.
