Dr. Dike Kalu's son signs contract with NFL's Philadelphia Eagles
Ndukwe "N.D." Kalu, son of Dr. Dike Kalu, professor of physiology, recently signed a five-year contract to play for the National Football League's Philadelphia Eagles.
A graduate of John Marshall High School, N.D. Kalu went on to play football for Rice University in Houston from 1995 to 1997. In 1997 he spent his "rookie" season playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. From 1999 to 2000, he played for the Washington Redskins.
Kalu enjoys playing dominoes, reading fiction and relaxing. During the season he lives in Ashburn, Va. During the off-season, he makes San Antonio his home.
